Fall Fundraiser (sponsored by Market Day) will be kicking off on September 2nd. Kids will come home with their packets that day. This is the the biggest fundraiser of the year for our schools, so please participate. We make 53% profit on every item sold... stock up on your wrapping paper, candy or Christmas gifts!
1st Market Day grocery sale is September 15th, Online orders can be entered until 11 PM on September 9th. Pick-up is at GKMS from 4 - 5 PM in the cafeteria! We made $4260.25 in profit from our grocery sales.. lets double that this year! IT is easy... sales over 3500 give us 15% profit, with the number of families in our community we can do this if everyone ordered $50 a month.

School Starts August 17th!!!!
I am placing the PTO meeting dates on the blog today and then there are a few things I wanted to remind you about.
Our FIRST Market Day Sale of the 2011/2012 school year will be on September 15th.. you can place your orders now... go back periodically to edit and add COUPONS... but PLEASE don't forget to pick-up! http://www.marketday.com/
Certainly hope you have been saving Box Tops, Labels for Education (Campbells), Kemps Milk Caps and Coke Rewards because I believe that we can double our totals from last year on each of these programs if we set out minds to it.. you are an AMAZING COMMUNITY and I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!
Coca Cola has a program going now that if you enter a 12pk code you can pick a 'bonus' bubble and possibly earn extra points! AND enter any Sprite Code and you have to option (I hope you say yes!) to enter GKMS (GK PTO) into a school parks contest.
